The Opportunity:Total Safety is looking for aBilling Specialist II to join their safety conscious team! The Billing Specialist handles all aspects of client billing, working closely with project managers, clients, and the billing team. Ensures that all tasks are managed in accordance with the Customer's requirements and the Company's programs, policies, and procedures. Ensures compliance with all Company policies/procedures and maintains/improves good customer relations by providing quality, timely services.About Total SafetyTotal Safety is the world's premier provider of integrated safety and compliance services and the products necessary to support them, including gas detection, respiratory protection, safety training, fire protection, compliance and inspection, comprehensive flare services, industrial hygiene, onsite emergency medical treatment/paramedics, communications systems, engineered systems design, and materials management.Essential Duties:Reviews billing packets finalized by Biller I for complete and accurate supporting documents required by customers and Total Safety.Submits invoices and support to customers,Serves as back-up biller during abscesses or high-volume processing periods.With gained experienced with be introduced to small account collectionsWork closely with account managers to provide client with accurate and timely information.Perform all other duties as assigned.Skills and Experience:Minimum of 3 years of billing or administrative experience with minimum of 6 months as a Total Safety Biller I.Ability to review multiple work streams from Biller I.Demonstrated consistent attendance.Attention to detail and remaining focused and productive in a fast-paced high-volume assignment.Experience in Microsoft Outlook and basic Excel skills (Data Exporting, Filtering and Sorting).Must possess the ability to work extended hours during busy season and month end close.Organized and time management skillsMust be able to generate, create, analyze, and reportMust be detail-oriented and extremely accurate.Must demonstrate ability to work in a team environment and willingness to assume additional or new responsibilities readily.Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive data, maintain data integrity and to extract data, perform calculations and prepare reports in an accurate and timely manner.Experience in a distribution and/or industrial rental environment preferred.
