Job Description:
Staffing Now, a division of SNI Companies , has an immediate
Legal Assistant opening working for our client in Houston, TX. The
position is working for a legal services firm that has multiple
locations nationwide. The legal assistant, under the supervision of
the team litigation attorney and/or litigation manager, will help
prepare pending tax cases for trial and judgment. The hours of the
position are Monday - Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. A summary of the
position is as follows: Responsibilities: Draft pleadings for
delinquent tax cases Review and analyze citation returns to
determine status of service File legal documents electronically
(E-file) Conduct skip tracing to locate individuals and verify
their addresses Qualifications: High School Diploma, associate's
degree preferred 1 years of administration experience working in a
professional office environment. Title and Oracle experience is a
plus Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Intermediate technical skills using MS Office (Word, Outlook,
Excel) Strong organization and attention to detail. Compensation
and Benefits: The compensation for this position starts at $17.00
an hour. Insurance, and other benefit options that are offered
