This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring the integrity of financial operations, compliance, and cross-departmental coordination. Key Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Accounting Department, including general accounting, accounts payable, payroll, cost accounting, and decision support. Supervise and mentor accounting staff, promoting accuracy, efficiency, and professional growth. Assist the Chief Financial Officer with the annual budgeting process and other strategic financial initiatives. Serve as the primary contact for external auditors and consultants to ensure compliance and timely reporting. Work collaboratively with other department leaders to communicate financial procedures and support organization-wide accounting needs. Deliver financial analysis and operational insight to guide informed decision-making. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field required; equivalent experience may be considered. Licensure/Certification: CPA license with an active permit to practice preferred. Experience: Minimum of five years of financial management experience in a healthcare setting strongly preferred. Strong understanding of healthcare finance, regulatory compliance, and cost accounting. Demonstrated leadership ability with excellent communication and analytical skills. Interested in hearing more?
