Job Description Job Description Job Title: Rebar Tying and Installer Company: Tiger Star Construction Location: Sealy, TX Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary Tiger Star Construction is seeking a skilled Rebar Tying and Installer to assemble and secure reinforcing steel (rebar) for concrete structures. This role ensures that rebar is installed correctly and safely according to project specifications, drawings, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Tie and install rebar for foundations, slabs, columns, walls, and other structural elements Read and interpret construction drawings and rebar schedules Use rebar tying tools, pliers, and other hand tools safely and effectively Ensure rebar placement, spacing, and alignment comply with project specifications and codes Collaborate with other trades to maintain workflow and schedule Maintain accurate records of rebar used and report issues to supervisors Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area Qualifications Proven experience as a Rebar Tying and Installer in construction Knowledge of tying techniques and construction safety standards Ability to read and follow rebar layouts and drawings Physical strength and stamina for lifting, bending, and working on scaffolds or in trenches Ability to work independently or as part of a team Physical Requirements Ability to lift, carry, and tie rebar repeatedly throughout the workday Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods
