ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology
Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1 years speech-language
pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. A rewarding opportunity is
available for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to
support elementary students in a school setting located in Spring,
TX. This contract position runs from now through the end of the
school year, with the possibility of renewal based on performance
and needs. Responsibilities: Assist licensed speech-language
pathologists in providing direct speech therapy services to
elementary students. Implement individualized treatment plans and
support students in improving communication skills. Maintain
accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to
facilitate student success. Participate in team meetings and
contribute to the development of effective intervention strategies.
Qualifications and Desired Experience: Certification or licensure
as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). Experience working
with elementary-age students in a school setting preferred. Strong
communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with
children, families, and staff. Ability to follow treatment
protocols and maintain documentation with attention to detail.
