Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Process Engineer for a multi-year contract position with our client in Pasadena TX. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience as a process engineer, with expertise in manual calculations and PSV sizing. A background in chemical engineering and strong knowledge of API 520/521 standards is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform manual calculations for pressure valves and pressure safety valve (PSV) sizing.
Apply knowledge of API 520/521 standards to ensure compliance.
Prepare and produce detailed technical reports and documentation.
Collaborate with teams to troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical Engineering preferred).
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a process engineer, with specific experience in pressure valve and PSV sizing calculations.
- Strong knowledge of API 520/521.
- Experience in process safety.
