We own and operate over 2,000 miles of industrial gas pipelines in the U.S. supplying mainly oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen and syngas in large quantities from multiple production sources to major customers in the chemicals, petrochemicals, refining and steel industries. Our pipeline operations and industrial gas production facilities are closely monitored 24/7 within our leading-edge operations control center located in Houston, Texas. Our operations control group monitors over 89,000 data points and assists with product supply and coordination. We are constantly optimizing our supply network to provide high reliability and energy efficiencies allowing Air Liquide to adjust supply needs more quickly and effectively enabling growth to our customers.Candidate must have valid employment authorization in the U.S. and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future. This position is not open for non-immigrant visa sponsorship.**Job Responsibilities**+ Routine management of In-Line Inspections (ILI), Direct Assessments (ECDA/ICDA), and pipeline remediation.+ Plan and coordinate field activities including permitting, traffic control, survey, and mechanical activities related to pipeline integrity projects and assessments.+ Review ILI and Direct Assessment Technical Reports. Routinely write and review engineering technical reports+ Identify pipeline integrity threats+ Lead the annual pipeline risk assessment process and pipeline integrity committee.+ Develop pipeline integrity KPIs and performance evaluation measurements.+ Maintain detailed implementation and communication plans, ensure timelines and due dates are managed, and track progress relative to pipeline integrity and pipeline regulatory compliance.+ Ensure compliance with operational regulations and provide management and oversight for the Pipeline Team.+ Identify and manage High Consequence Areas (HCA) and Location Class+ Lead pipeline integrity risk assessment discussions and decisions+ Select pipeline inspection and indirect survey techniques and contractors+ Assess pipeline damage and determine fitness for service+ Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) of pipeline damage+ Oversee and monitor all pipeline integrity management activities of the ALLIUS organization.+ Responsible for the development, operation, and continuous improvement of the Pipeline Integrity Plan & Management System.+ Support and manage the team responsible for regulatory compliance of pipeline activities (PHMSA, RRC, and Others).+ Document all related work associated with performing and maintaining regulatory compliance and operating and maintenance procedures.+ Develop organizational strategy and recommendations regarding Pipeline Integrity, Regulatory Compliance, and Corrosion prevention and present them to the management team from time to time.+ Participate in industry and trade associations as needed to continue developing knowledge of best practices in the integrity management and pipeline regulatory compliance areas.+ Corrosion control duties include but are not limited to the oversight and management of: gathering annual pipe-to-soil surveys, gathering rectifier readings, troubleshooting rectifier units, performing interference testing, recommending, designing, and overseeing the installations of cathodic protection systems.+ Manage Corrosion Engineers and ensure corrosion prevention projects and tasks necessary to achieve cathodic protection of pipeline facilities including working within a budget, meeting deadlines, outlining specifications, and completing as-built drawings for needed cathodic facilities.**Required Qualifications**+ Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Chemistry, or Physics+ 5 years of experience in pipeline integrity, operation, orconstruction.+ Experience in pipeline corrosion, inspection and/or integrity engineering+ General knowledge of typical pipeline design, materials, and construction+ Knowledge of CFR 192, ASME B31.8, ASME B318S, ASME B31G, NACE SP0502, NACE SP0206, API 1163, API 5L+ Knowledge of MFL ILI techniques, pigging practices; cleaning, tool launching & receiving+ Experience managing, planning, executing ILI projects+ Experience managing, planning, executing pipeline Direct Assessment projects+ Knowledge of indirect survey techniques; e.g. CIS, ACVG, DCVG, ACCA+ Demonstrated experience managing integrity projects, interacting with business units, and working with contractors+ Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
