Role Profile

Position: Manager - Hose Management Program

Job Location: Texas

Job Type: Full-Time

Status: Exempt

Summary of the Role

ERIKS North America is looking for an experienced industrial leader who has proven performance in overall hose management programs. The Manager will oversee the development and deployment of a scalable hose management program across the business. The Manager will collaborate with a vast number of resources to define capabilities and provide a remarkable experience for our customers. The Manager will report to the Regional Director of Sales.


  • Must maintain 100% commitment to safety policies and procedure
  • Generate demand for our hose management program that meets assigned target expectations
  • Identify new hose business development among gulf coast refinery accounts
  • Book, secure and implement ERIKS NA's Hose Management Program. This will involve all aspects of the program including the implementation of a system that will include audits, specification improvements, hose tagging, hose testing & recertifications, and life cycle TCO's
  • Assist in metal hose capabilities and expansion of Erik's' operational offerings (capex, welders, inventory)
  • Support Key Account Managers and Sales Representatives selected accounts, outside of gulf coast, that will help grow Refining / PetroChem markets
  • Support a scalable hose management program to drive new business
  • Provide product expertise to enhance product knowledge to multiple resources across organization to include customers, Sales Representatives, Sales Managers and Fulfillment Center Managers
  • Lead demand-generating activities in the assigned market for the assigned product specialty
  • Recommends application and function of products by reviewing product specifications and requirements and evaluating new product ideas.
  • Prepares product sales budgets/forecasts which support the hose management growth strategy
  • Delivers high-level, professional sales presentations
  • Understands and utilizes cost-to-serve and contribution profit analysis for each customer and market segment
  • Performs additional duties as assigned

    Skills and Abilities
    • Possesses excellent customer service skills and the ability to interact with customers, and team-members in a professional manner
      • Strong organizational and communication skills, above average mechanical aptitude, and the ability to interact with a diverse customer base
      • Presentation skills with ability to read the audience and tailor our message to its needs
      • Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel

        • Strong communication, negotiation, planning, project management, sales, business and financial skills are required
        • Knowledge of metal hoses and hose management services a must
        • Minimum 6 years in industrial sales
        • Technical acumen
        • Computer software skills in Microsoft products Word, Excel, PowerPoint
        • Requires ability to organize and prioritize workload and be able to interact effectively with all types of people in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
        • Ability to travel 60% of the time
