  What you will do in this role:
  
  The Nurse Manager

  • Responsible for assisting the department director with planning, directing, supervising and evaluating all care in the Critical----Care Unit on a 24-hour basis.
    
  • --Manages, coordinates and controls all aspects of the unit in order to provide quality patient care and maintain high standards of professional practices in the clinical setting.

    Qualifications
    What qualifications you will need:
    
    
    • 
      
    • 
      Current Texas licensure with State Board of Nurse Examiners as an RN.
      
      
    • 
      BSN is required.
      
      
    • 
      A minimum of two (2) years Intensive Care experience is preferred.--
      
      
    • 
      American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification
      
      
    • 
      American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Life Support Course (ALS or ACLS) and Certification
      
      
    • 
      NIH Stroke certification required.
