Provides professional nursing care to patients, including conducting nursing assessments, assisting with exams and treatment, patient education, and maintenance of medical records. MHHS hires RNs based on years of experience groupings (i.e. newly licensed RN [working under the supervision of RN clinical preceptor], less than 1 year, 1-3 years, 3 to 10 and 10+).Job DescriptionMemorial Hermann Texas Medical Center, Level 1 Trauma & Magnet Facility, is seeking a full-time RN to support the Med Surg ACE (Acute Care for the Elderly) Unit. ACE Unit: Specializes in caring for 65 years and older patient population. Unit has 14 beds with a 1:4-5 ratio.This unit also offers:-Flexible scheduling options-Structured orientation-Supportive and close-knit team environment-Strong emphasis on leadership and teamwork-The unit has a unit practice council-PNAP-The Unit has opportunities for growth: we do have Ultrasound IV training, port-access training and possibility to cross train in oncology.*Full-Time, Day shift * BSN preferred, will consider ADN candidates willing to enroll in a BSN program.*Need at least 1 year of RN experience.
