SummaryCollaborates with interdisciplinary team in the delivery of
patient care, utilizing the nursing process; provides professional

Surg Units:Med Surg Neuro5 North (5N) is a Med Surg-Neuro Unit. The
Unit consists of 25 beds, all private rooms. 5N provides acute care
to all stroke, seizures, chest pain, CHF, end-stage renal disease
and ETOH withdrawal. 5N also has remote telemetry monitoring
capabilities that can accommodate patients requiring cardiac
monitoring. Our patient population is high-acuity with complex
co-morbidities. The nurse to patient ratio is 1:4-5, with a vast
amount of support resourcesCardiac TeleThe unit consists of 12
beds, all private. IMU is a fast paced transitional care unit for
critical care patients who do not meet criteria for ICU. Patient
population consists of DKA, Uncontrolled hypertension,
hemodynamically unstable patients, COPD exacerbations, COVID and
various other pulmonary diseases. Nurse to patient ratio is 1:3.

satisfaction.Cardiac RehabThe Cardiac Rehab Unit at Greater Heights
consists of inpatient and outpatient care. The goal of this unit is
to advise patients on preventative measures for strokes and heart
attacks. Cardiac Rehab classes are available from 7:30AM to 4PM
Monday through Friday and provides heart monitoring for patients.6
North Medical6 North (6N) is General Med Surg/Tele Unit. The unit
consists of 38 beds, both private and semi-private rooms. 6N
provides acute care to general med surg patients, with diagnoses
consisting of diabetes, diabetic associated ulcers, hypertension,
COPD, pneumonia, sepsis pancreatitis, end-stage renal disease, ETOH
withdrawal, cancer and other general med surg diagnosis. Our
patients requiring cardiac monitoring are remotely monitored via a
Central Telemetry Unit. The patient population ranges from early
adult to geriatric and 6N has a high-acuity patient population with
complex co-morbidities. The nurse to patient ratio is 1:5, with a
vast amount of support resources.Med Surg Oncology/TraumaMemorial
Hermann Greater Heights is a Magnet facility with:260 beds; 40
Private Beds; 1:4-5 Patient RatioFast paced unit, team

QualificationsEducation: Graduate of an accredited School of
Professional Nursing; Bachelors of Nursing
preferredLicenses/Certifications:Current State of Texas license or
temporary/compact license to practice professional nursingCertified
in Basic Life SupportAdditional certifications may be required
based on discipline and/or nursing unit requirementsExperience /
Knowledge / Skills:RN I RN II = 1-3 yearsRN III = 3-10 yearsRN IV =
