DescriptionMemorial Hermann Texas Medical Center, Level 1 Trauma &
Magnet Facility, is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to support
the Burn ICU.Our Burn Unit in the John S. Dunn Burn Center is the
only Comprehensive Burn Center in Houston and is verified by the
American Burn Association. The affiliated board-certified
physicians at the Burn Center, care for all types of burn injuries,
inhalation injuries and various skin disorders including
Stevens-Johnson syndrome and toxic epidermal necrolysis. This unit
is a mixed acuity unit with the unique ability to care for floor,
IMU and ICU patient populations being able to provide the entire
continuum of care and see the progression of your patients.
- Night shift Available
- Will need at least 1 year of ICU RN experience or will consider
2+ years IMU RN experience.
- Patient Ratio: 1:-2-3
- BSN preferred due to Magnet facility. Will consider ADN if

QualificationsEducation: Graduate of an accredited School of
Professional Nursing; Bachelors of Nursing
preferredLicenses/Certifications:
- Current State of Texas license or temporary/compact license to
practice professional nursing
- Certified in Basic Life Support
- Additional certifications may be required based on discipline
and/or nursing unit requirementsExperience / Knowledge / Skills:
- RN I
- RN II = 1-3 years
- RN III = 3-10 years
- RN IV = 10+ years
