Job Summary and Qualifications What you will do in this role: Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures and delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department. In collaboration with other members of the management team, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures. Serves as a resource person for staff, and models a commitment to the organization's vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance. What qualifications you will need: Current Texas Licensure with State Board of Nurse Examiners Associates Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BLCLS) and Certification American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Life Support Course (ALS or ACLS) and Certification within six months of employment One (1) year of charge nurse or Leadership experience in a hospital setting One (1) year of experience in this specific unit HCA Houston Healthcare West is a full-service, 300+ bed hospital that has been offering exceptional care to the West Houston communities for over 30 years.
