TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified NICU RN in Pasadena, Texas, 77504 Pay Information $1,744 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: NICU Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00-07:00 Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN License Certifications: NRP, BLS Must-Have: - Level II and Level III NICU experience Job Description: - Join a dedicated NICU team in a Level III unit equipped with modern technology and comprehensive support. - Provide specialized care to newborns with varying acuity levels, managing patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:4 based on infant needs. - Utilize advanced equipment such as vents, oscillators, IV pumps, feeding pumps, Medela milk warmers, phototherapy equipment, Omnibeds, and bubble CPAP. - Document efficiently using CPN and Meditech EMR systems. - Assist with line placement and line changes, supporting high-quality neonatal care. - Adhere to unit guidelines that emphasize strong hand hygiene---nothing below elbows, no rings, watches, fake nails, or nail polish. - Wear royal blue scrubs to maintain a professional and unified appearance on the unit. - Take part in a supportive environment with a Night Shift Clinical Nurse Coordinator, RNs, RTs, NNPs, and a Neonatologist on site 24/7. - Appreciate the collaborative environment featuring a designated Texas 10 Step Level III NICU. - Opportunity to float by turn to the Nursery for diverse clinical exposure. - Gain experience in a facility that values continuous development and teamwork, benefiting from insights shared by tenured staff. - Enjoy an inviting work culture with occasional team events, recognizing excellence and fostering a sense of community. 26686168EXPTEMP Job Requirements Required for Onboarding BLS PALS - AHA Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam 5 Benefits of Travel Nursing Confront diverse medical cases that challenge and expand your skill set.
