IV Pharmacist Compensation Pay Rate: $64.27 per hour Benefits: Available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment 401(k): Company match available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates IV Pharmacist Highlights Location: Houston, TX Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM No weekends or on-call requirements Contract assignment with potential for extension based on performance and business needs IV Pharmacist Responsibilities Accept and dispense prescription medications Monitor patient medication compliance and usage patterns Ensure legal and clinical appropriateness of dispensed medications Maintain accurate and confidential patient records Advise patients on medication usage, side effects, and interactions Offer counseling on over-the-counter medications and medical devices Provide health consultations (e.g., smoking cessation, BP/cholesterol management) Compound and prepare sterile solutions as needed Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff Maintain pharmaceutical and medical supply inventory Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams to identify and resolve drug-related issues IV Pharmacist Requirements Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree Active and valid Texas Pharmacist License IV Certification Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days If you think this IV Pharmacist position is a good fit for you, reach out today!
