Job Description Protouch Staffing is seeking a local contract nurse RN Hospice for a local contract nursing job in Huntsville, Texas. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Hospice - Discipline: RN - Duration: 14 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract Job Responsibilities: - Provide compassionate, direct care to hospice patients and support their families - Perform initial and ongoing assessments and update the Plan of Care accordingly - Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary team (LPNs, CNAs, and support staff) - Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation - Educate families and caregivers on care procedures and the hospice philosophy - Participate in on-call rotation and agency quality initiatives as needed - Demonstrate expertise in symptom/pain management and end-of-life care - Follow all infection control and compliance standards Requirements: - Active Texas RN license - Minimum 2 year of RN experience in acute care, oncology, hospice, or home health - Current BLS certification (AHA) - Valid driver’s license & Social Security Card - Reliable transportation - Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills - Ability to work independently and manage a caseload Mileage Reimbursement: $0.70 per mile/n/nHuntsville, TX (up to a 60-mile coverage area) (Shift to Shift)or (Case to Case) About Protouch Staffing Protouch Staffing stands out as a premier healthcare staffing agency in the USA, committed to pairing healthcare workers with positions that perfectly match their qualifications, experiences, and career aspirations.
