Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 11/03/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - ICU Job Details: • Work 12-hour shifts in 26-bed ICU unit on 2nd floor • Patient ratios of 1:2 or 1:1 depending on acuity • Every other weekend requirement • No floating to other units • Work with advanced equipment including mechanical ventilators, balloon pumps, CRRTs, Impella, and EKOS • Utilize Meditech EMR system • Participate in bedside procedures including tracheostomies, PEG insertions, and central line insertions • 1 year ICU experience required • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH • Preferred experience with CRRT, Impella, and balloon pump • Royal blue scrubs required • Must be a team player who works well with others • Day shift includes 1 charge nurse, 1 rapid response RN, and 5 bedside RNs for 10 ICU patients • Night shift includes 1 charge nurse, 1 rapid response RN, 5 bedside RNs, and 1 PCT for 10 ICU patients Facility: This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive 26-bed intensive care unit with advanced critical care capabilities.
