Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/05/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - ICU Job Details: • Work in a 26-bed intensive care unit on the 2nd floor of the main building • Patient ratio of 1:2 providing comprehensive critical care • Every other weekend shift required, no on-call responsibilities for agency staff • Day shift includes 1 charge RN, 1 rapid response RN, and 8 bedside RNs • Night shift staffing mirrors day shift structure • Work with advanced equipment including mechanical ventilators, CRRT, IABP, Impella, and EKOS • Use Meditech EMR system for documentation • Participate in critical procedures such as intubation, bedside ECMO cannulation, chest tube insertion, bedside tracheostomy, and central line insertions • 1-2 years of ICU experience required - candidates without this will not be considered • CV and Neuro ICU experience preferred and given priority consideration • Must be accountable for actions and maintain professional standards • Required certifications: ACLS/BCLS • No floating to other units required • Royal blue dress code required Facility: This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive 26-bed intensive care unit that provides advanced critical care services.
