Job Description:
SMART is actively recruiting for a locum emergency medicine
physician to provide coverage for a client of ours in College
Station, TX. Coverage is needed as soon as credentialed and ongoing
during permanent recruitment. Qualifications: Active TX license
preferred but will consider those with IMLC BC/BE Emergency
Medicine EM eligible: Current ATLS, ACLS and PALS are required EM
Boarded: ACLS and PALS required to be current, ATLS can be expired
but will need a copy of the card. Looking for candidates with at
least 3-4 shifts of availability per month. Job Summary: Shift
times: 7a-7p; 7p-7a APC Shift Times: 11a-9p Annual Volume: 23,000
Avg. 16% admit rate ED runs codes Back up specialties: FM, IM,
General Surgery, Urology, Cardiology, ENT, ID, Neurology and GI
consults Level IV trauma center EMR: PICIS Benefits of Working with
