Job Description:
Aveanna Healthcare, a leading national provider of diversified
home healthcare services, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated
Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Private Duty Nurse. In
this role, you will provide one-on-one nursing care in the comfort
of patients' homes across a variety of cases. By focusing on
delivering high-quality and personalized care, you will play an
integral part in fulfilling Aveanna Healthcares mission to help our
patients reach their fullest potential. This position requires an
individual who can work both independently and collaboratively
within a team to ensure effective patient care and achievement of
health goals. Provide personalized patient care under physician
orders in the patient’s home setting. Monitor patient’s condition
and update care plans accordingly. Administer medication and
operate medical equipment safely. Educate patients and their
families on treatment procedures and care routines. Maintain clear
and accurate patient documentation. Coordinate with healthcare
professionals to ensure consistency in patient care. Proficient in
nursing practices, standards, and protocols. Ability to handle
medical equipment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Detail-oriented and adept at multitasking. Critical thinking and
problem-solving capabilities. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance Valid RN license in the state of
practice. CPR certified. Additional certification in pediatric
advanced life support (PALS) is preferred.
