Job Description:

Encompass Health Corporation, a leader in facility-based and home-based patient care, is seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our diverse team of healthcare professionals. As an RRT, you will provide respiratory therapy and cardiopulmonary care to our patients in inpatient rehabilitation settings as well as in home health environments. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to integrate and enhance patient care. The position requires a deep commitment to improving patient outcomes, maintaining clinical excellence, and providing premier healthcare services. Assess patient health needs and develop respiratory care plans. Operate and maintain various types of respiratory care equipment. Educate patients and families about lung health and treatment plans. Record data and manage respiratory therapy interventions. Respond to and manage respiratory emergencies. Proficiency in using ventilators, CPAP machines, and other respiratory equipment. Strong patient assessment skills. Ability to educate patients and families on treatment plans. Capability to handle stress and make timely decisions in emergencies. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current and valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). Licensed as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of employment.
