Job Summary: We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Rapid Response for our facility to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. What You Will Do In Your Role: - You will be responsible to respond for all RRTs (Rapid Response calls), Code Blue, Code Sepsis, and Code Stroke. - You will communicate daily with each charge nurse to identify high risk patients. - You will be responsible to monitor surgery schedule and rounds on any “at risk” post op patients. - You will take on the role of educator and provides support and education to staff as needed. What qualifications you will need: - Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing is required. - Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date) - Minimum of 2 years nursing experience in Intensive Care or Emergency Department. - Current American Heart Association BLS Certification is required - Current American Heart Association ACLS Certification is required - NIH Stroke Scale Certification required - Advanced Cardiac Life Spt - Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course - PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt - Trauma Nursing Core Course - Associate Degree Required, BSN Preferred HCA Houston Healthcare Southeastis a full-service340 bed acute care hospital in Pasadena, Texas.
