Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated Speech Pathologist to join our interdisciplinary healthcare team, providing comprehensive speech therapy and rehabilitation services in our inpatient and outpatients settings. In this role, you will evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders, ensuring personalized care that aligns with our commitment to exceptional patient outcomes. This position requires expertise in diagnostic techniques and treatment methodologies to handle cases ranging from mild speech and language difficulties to complex neurological conditions. Assess and diagnose disorders related to speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, swallowing, and fluency. Develop and implement individualized care plans based on each patient’s needs and medical condition. Provide therapeutic interventions to correct or mitigate speech-language obstacles. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to plan and evaluate team-based care. Educate patients and family members about speech disorders and communication strategies. Keep detailed records of patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Participate in ongoing education to stay abreast of the field. Expertise in various speech therapy techniques and tools. Ability to handle a wide range of patient needs and conditions. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proficient in using digital tools for therapy and documentation. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid state license in Speech-Language Pathology. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
