Registered Nurse (RN) | Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Location: Houston, TX Agency: Thrive Staffing Pay: $1,286 to $1,480 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position Job Title Travel- RN- PICU (645) City/State: Houston, Texas Shift: Nights, 19:00-07:00 Contract Length: 13 weeks Start Date: 02/23/2026 Job Description: The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) RN will provide specialized care for critically ill children. The unit operates with 14-22 beds and requires attentive management of patient ratios and coordination with multiple staff members. Responsibilities: Manage cleft palate repair, appendectomies, chest tube management, and lumbar punctures. Perform seizure management and noninvasive cardiology. Support general surgery, thoracic cases, and neuro, ortho services. Requirements: BLS and PALS certifications are required. ACLS certification is preferred.
