Job Description:
Memorial Hermann, a leader in the Texas healthcare sector, is
currently seeking a skilled Lead Nuclear Medicine Technologist to
join our team. In this role, you will oversee the nuclear medicine
department, ensuring excellent patient care, compliance with health
and safety protocols, and the use of state-of-the-art imaging
technologies. This position requires an individual with a deep
understanding of nuclear medicine procedures, outstanding
leadership skills, and a commitment to clinical excellence.
Supervise and train nuclear medicine technologists and support
staff. Oversee the preparation and safe handling of
radiopharmaceuticals. Ensure compliance with all regulatory,
safety, and hospital protocols. Conduct and oversee complex nuclear
medicine procedures. Maintain accurate patient records and
departmental documentation. Implement and evaluate new technologies
and protocols in nuclear medicine. Participate in multidisciplinary
teams to improve patient care and clinical outcomes. Expertise in
nuclear medicine technology and procedures. Strong leadership and
team management skills. Proficiency in using nuclear medicine
imaging equipment and software. Ability to maintain high safety
standards in handling radiopharmaceuticals. Excellent communication
and interpersonal abilities. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certification from the Nuclear
Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or the American
Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Valid state license as
a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
