Occupational Therapist (OT) – Outpatient Rehabilitation /n We are
seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to
join a dynamic outpatient rehabilitation team focused on helping
patients restore function, independence, and quality of life. This
role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient
population including individuals recovering from orthopedic
injuries, neurological conditions, hand injuries, and other
functional limitations. /n The OT will evaluate patients, develop
individualized treatment plans, and implement evidence-based
interventions to improve daily function, upper extremity use, and
overall participation in meaningful activities. This setting
requires strong clinical reasoning, patient education skills, and
the ability to manage a varied caseload in a fast-paced outpatient
environment. /n Key Responsibilities: /n /n - /n Perform
comprehensive OT evaluations and develop individualized plans of
care /n /n - /n Provide skilled interventions targeting activities
of daily living (ADLs), upper extremity function, fine motor
coordination, strength, and functional mobility /n /n - /n Treat
patients with orthopedic, neurological, and post-surgical
conditions /n /n - /n Provide hand therapy, splinting, and upper
extremity rehabilitation when appropriate /n /n - /n Educate
patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury
prevention /n /n - /n Utilize adaptive equipment and teach
compensatory strategies to improve functional independence /n /n -
/n Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including PTs,
referring physicians, and support staff /n /n - /n Supervise and
guide COTAs in accordance with state practice guidelines /n /n - /n
Complete accurate and timely documentation in EMR /n /n /n Ideal
Candidate: /n /n - /n Active OT license in practicing state /n /n -
/n Outpatient rehabilitation experience preferred /n /n - /n
Experience with orthopedic and upper extremity conditions is a plus
/n /n - /n Strong clinical reasoning, time management, and
communication skills /n /n - /n Comfortable working in a
collaborative, patient-focused outpatient environment /n /n /n This
