This position involves working within our network of inpatient rehabilitation hospitals and occasionally providing support in home health settings. As a PTA at Encompass Health, you will play a critical role in helping patients achieve their highest level of independence through tailored therapy interventions under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Documenting patient responses and progress in patient records. Educating patients and families on post-treatment care and exercises. Maintaining equipment and ensuring treatment areas are clean and organized. Collaborating with healthcare team members to maximize patient outcomes. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to follow detailed instructions. Familiarity with physical therapy modalities and techniques. Capacity to handle physical demands of patient assistance. Competence in using therapy equipment safely. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current PTA licensure or certification as required by the state. CPR certified.
