Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract
position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or
Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to serve in a school
setting located in Richmond, TX. This role offers the opportunity
to work directly with students, supporting their communication and
speech development within an educational environment. The
assignment begins ASAP and continues through May 22, 2026.
Responsibilities: - Provide speech and language therapy to
students, addressing a range of communication disorders -
Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare
professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment
plans - Maintain accurate records of student progress and
communicate effectively with the school's support team - Ensure
compliance with district policies and licensing requirements,
including completion of fingerprint background checks
Qualifications: - Active SLP licensure is required - Experience
working in school-based settings is preferred - Ability to manage a
caseload with approximately 7.5 hours of direct service per day,
Monday through Friday - Strong communication skills and a
commitment to student-centered care - Successful completion of
required fingerprinting and background clearance through the
district Location: - Richmond, TX school environment with
assignments based on the needs of the district This role offers a
scheduled 37.5-hour work week with Monday through Friday daytime
