We are looking for energetic people to come and join our team and make a difference! We are looking for team members to join our dayshift team working from 10:30am - 2:30pm Mon-Fri . These hours can change depending on the business needs. Setting the example for new teammates on how to care for and serve customers. Preparing Lennys highest quality Sandwiches throughout the day for in-store, online, and pickup customers. Ringing orders out on the cash register. Taking orders by phone. Filling and inspecting online orders. Promoting cooperative effort, a team spirit, and positive morale among the team. Delivering excellent customer service, Lennys Way! Performing daily check lists and periodic checks for safety of equipment and to ensure that food is cooked and stored properly; notifying the manager if any issues arise. Properly labeling and putting away food deliveries. Learning to serve in all roles on the team (such as vegetable preparation, cookie and bread baking, slicing sandwich meat, wrapping sandwiches, grilling hot sandwiches, cashier, and daily cleaning). Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)* Demonstration of sufficient reading and math skills to read check lists and participate in on-the-job training. Previous restaurant experience not required; but positive attitude and initiative is required, punctual. Excellent customer service to treat patrons like family. Strong communication skills to work within a team and keep your leaders informed about our customers, food preparation and store cleanliness. Willingness to learn and grow daily! Physical Demands and Work Environment at Lenny's stand the entire shift. Frequently use hands or fingers, handle or feel fresh or prepared foods, objects, tools, or controls. Stand; walk; sit; stoop; bend; shake, stir, and pour; and reach with hands and arms. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Utilize vision abilities, to include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Perform duties while regularly exposed to sharp objects, slippery floors, steam, high temperatures, humidity, and cold. Regularly come into contact with water, meat products, poultry products, and produce items. Frequently wash hands.
