Governance Analyst will be responsible for ensuring that Nabors's
IT operations align with its business goals, policies, and
regulatory requirements. They will ensure that IT systems and
processes not only support business needs but do so securely,
compliantly, and effectively. If you are looking for an opportunity

impact. This may be the role for you! Assist in developing and
implementing IT governance policies and procedures to ensure
alignment with organizational goals and compliance with legal and
regulatory standards. Identify and evaluate IT-related risks,
compliance, and operational risks and assess how these risks impact
the organization and recommend mitigations. Support internal and
external audits by co ordinating with auditors and control owners,
gathering evidence, implement corrective actions for audit findings
and tracking adherence to policies and risk management efforts.
Serve as a bridge between IT, compliance, and business units,
helping communicate governance expectations, risks, and compliance
requirements across departments. Analyze current IT governance
processes and suggest areas for improvement, such as automating
workflows, streamlining compliance checks, or implementing new risk
management tools. Provide training and guidance to other teams on
IT governance policies and best practices, helping reinforce
compliance and reduce risks across the organization. Assist in
change management initiatives for IT governance improvements.
Assist in tracking the spend for License, Professional services,
etc. to align with the overall IT spend. Assist in reviewing
contracts related to IT services and products, ensuring alignment
with company policies and budget constraints. LI-TL1 Bachelor's
degree in Computer Science or related discipline (such as in
development, process methodology, IT systems) or equivalent
experience in IT SOX compliance. 1-3 years of functional experience
in technology governance, support or related field. Familiarity
with governance frameworks like COBIT, ITIL, NIST, or ISO 27001.
Basic knowledge of IT systems and security principles. Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to
interact effectively with all levels of management. Critical
thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail, especially for policy and report creation, as
well as auditing processes. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Two years of
relevant experience. Certification in governance or risk management
is highly desirable. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS
Office environment May be required to visit a Rig environment to
understand the nature of the business While performing the duties
of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit. The
employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and use hands.
The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job includes close
vision and distance vision.
