Employee turnover is very low - evidencing a high level of engagement and career fulfillment.This position manages high net worth clients. -It involves extensive client contact and a working knowledge of trust and agency account administration including fiduciary accounting, securities, finance, real estate, taxes and estate planning. -A high priority goal for this position is the development of new business. -This is accomplished by working independently, as well as with staff across the organization, through professional networking and direct solicitation of qualified prospects. The officer should have a strong established network of legal, accounting and other professionals, as well as client prospects. -The officer has an assistant and together has total administrative responsibility for a book of accounts, and shares relationship management with an assigned investment officer. -The job also requires the ability to travel to call on active clients, referral sources and prospective clients. -All positions are considered in-person with flexibility on a case by case basis.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Advising on trust and fiduciary matters, including review of trust documents and prospective relationships and legal matters affecting fiduciary accounts.
  • Overseeing legal aspects of, and working with outside counsel regarding, RIA and captive mutual funds.
  • Working with outside counsel, client counsel and internal management on broad range of matters, including trust and fiduciary, investment/securities, real estate, litigation, employment and regulatory issues.
  • Participating in compliance and regulatory functions.
  • Reviewing and drafting of corporate documents and analysis of corporate contracts and transactions.DESIRED EDUCATION
    • Bachelor's degree (B.A) from a four-year college or university
    • Legal qualification (JD) and current membership in CA state barDESIRED EXPERIENCE
      • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience, including experience in house and/or at a law firm with highly regarded trust and estate, fiduciary, securities and corporate expertise.
      • Strong background in advising on fiduciary activities, including trust administration.
      • Excellent analytical skills and judgment.
      • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
      • Ability to work effectively as part of management team.
      • Ability to evaluate and develop strategies for resolving legal risks and implications.
      • Ability to balance and effectively handle numerous priorities.

          A competitive base salary, performance bonus, and benefit plans including medical, dental, vision, life, long term disability, and 401(k) with company match.
