Job Description:
Purchasing Coordinator Houston, TX 77067 3 Month Contract
Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Purchasing
Coordinator for a 3-month temporary assignment. The ideal candidate
will have prior experience in Purchasing and experience with
elastomer products, specifically O-rings would be a Plus, and will
support procurement operations, vendor management, and inventory
coordination. Responsibilities Source and procure elastomer
materials and O-ring components in line with production schedules.
Manage supplier relationships and monitor performance to ensure
timely and cost-effective delivery. Maintain accurate purchasing
records, POs and inventory reports. Collaborate with engineering,
quality and production teams to meet material specifications and
timelines. Identify cost-saving opportunities and support
continuous improvement in procurement processes.
