As an Industrial Key Account Representative, you will increase market share within a select group of industrial construction contractors and/or Industrial Plant Owners within the district and/or region. This will be accomplished by selling the power of Sunbelt, increasing product awareness, increased efficiency of the corporate account office, evaluating new potential customers into the program and managing corporate industrial account offices.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES--- Establish regional goals and objectives to grow market share and revenue opportunities within the industrial construction sector.--- Growth in revenue within the Industrial Tool cat/class of equipment.--- Develop and implement strategies to identify revenue opportunities with the industrial construction sector to meet regional and district goals and objectives.--- Management of customer relationships and account development.--- Identify customer's fleet, quality and safety expectations and provide direction for implementation of these requirements in purchasing and equipment maintenance procedures.--- Will serve in a leadership/mentor capacity to the Industrial Reps and/or GT OSR's.--- Make office and field visits to build on or create new relationships.--- Discuss upcoming jobs and equipment requirements.--- Promote specialty businesses including IRG tools, pump and power services, climate control, industrial climate control, scaffold services and remediation, etc.--- Investigate and resolve any issues including contract, invoice, service, etc.--- Identify and develop new customer opportunities.--- Meet with the customer to identify their needs.--- Review the program with the customer and identify the benefits for their company.--- Create managed account agreements for customers that fit the criteria to be in the key account program.--- Review the customer's account with accounts receivable on a monthly basis and resolve any issues.--- Reports to Industrial Services Regional Manager. Will need to work in conjunction with RVP, RSD, DM, PCM, GT-KAR and OSR within the districts and region.QUALIFICATIONS--- Develop assigned customers list via prospecting, cold-calling, qualifying leads, following up on referrals, setting up sales appointments, and presenting Sunbelts capabilities in the market place.--- Utilize Accelerate as the primary platform for all territory and customer management.--- Expand customer diversity through new accounts and increase product awareness of existing accounts.--- Communicate opportunities and work closely with industrial and OSR's within the region.--- High school diploma or equivalent, college degree in Business or Marketing preferred.--- Minimum of 5 years working in industrial market segment and account management experience.--- Working knowledge of industrial market segment, equipment application, features, benefits, operation and specifications required.--- Must have excellent presentation skills and oral/written communication skills.--- Computer literate, including Windows, Adobe Acrobat and all Microsoft Office suite of products.--- Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, squat, reach, crouch and kneel.The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job.
