Reporting to the Service Supervisor, the Technical Service and Repair Specialist will be based at our Pasadena TX facility. The selected candidate will be responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing and servicing self retracting lifelines according to manufacturers specifications. Key Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with Honeywell Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures throughout the department Adhere to the Honeywell Behaviors Work with management team in implementing and maintaining the Honeywell Operating System (HOS) Attend meetings and contribute in a positive fashion Lead performance initiatives in the site repair department Inspect, troubleshoot, repair and service self retracting lifelines according to manufacturers specifications Ensure technician certification is maintained and current Escalate possible quality issues or concerns to appropriate leadership Ensure the department works independently to maintain customer quality satisfaction and delivery performance (OTTR) Interact with customer service and directly with customers in a professional manner at all times Ensure department completes work within defined customer requirement timelines Keep and maintain a quality records system Maintain service tools and equipment to applicable standards Communicate with Site Leader on a regular basis Participate daily safety inspections, cycle count, and 5S activities Ongoing monitoring for and reporting of any unsafe behaviors or conditions that may occur Contribute to continuous improvement ideas according to HOS standards Attend daily tier meetingsYOU MUST HAVE High School diploma or GED 2+ years of experience in a certified technical service position WE VALUE: Self Retracting Lifeline repair/service experience is an asset Ability to obtain certification in self retracting lifeline certification and repair Ability to manually lift up to 50 pounds Knowledge of safe work practices Progressive responsibility in a previous position Above average organizational skill Strong communication skills Self starter Attention to detail A minimum of business based computer skills Experience in a Lean Environment Inventory management Cycle counting/Physical inventory experience College certificate or diploma is an asset Microsoft Office, e-mail, and network ERP systems Experience in reading drawings and following standard work instructions Strong prioritization skills Ability to work well alone and as a member of a team Additional Information
