Financial AnalystCorporate Job TitleFinancial Analyst Reporting Relationships Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager Position SummaryReporting to the FP&A Manager, the Financial Analyst will be responsible for preparing consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, develop detailed financial and valuation models and provide planning and analysis support of business lines budgets and forecasts. Work will be supervised by the Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis.Minimum RequirementsProficient in MS Office, specifically excel spreadsheets (formatting, graphs/charts, advanced formulas, task automation, PivotTables, etc.) and other financial software or business analytics applications.Must be detail oriented with the ability to act independently, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong oral and written communication skills, experience in generating executive level summaries and reports.Knowledge of corporate finance, accounting, and information analysis.Proficiency with financial systems; NetSuite and Power BI are a plus but not required.Education / Experience:Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field and 1-3 years of related work experience or prior internship experience in a similar role.ResponsibilitiesDevelops integrated and dynamic financial and operational analysis, for actuals, budgets and forecasts for internal and external reports, and presentations.Supports the development and administering of annual operating and capital budgets and serves as budget advisor to business units throughout the budget development process.Prepare consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting (budgets/actuals) and other operational key performance indicators for internal and investor reports and presentations.Leverage existing tools and systems to pull and summarize data as well as provide creative alternatives and recommendations for increased sophistication to existing financial reports and KPI dashboards.Synthesize data and create standardized processes and procedures for reports and dashboards.Perform variance analysis of business performance relative to budget metrics and prior periods and investigate source and root cause of results.Concisely articulate analysis/findings and present appropriate actions.
