The objective of the Mechanical Technical is to ensure the safe and reliable operation of our production facility. The Mechanical Technical will be responsible for the identifying and completing planned and unplanned maintenance work on rotating and mechanical equipment. This person will work independently, make technical decisions, and escalate technical concerns in the field.Primary Responsibilities:

• Performs a wide variety of skilled mechanic duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and modify mechanical equipment and facilities.
• Uses a wide variety of hand, power, and machine tools to perform assignments.
• Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical equipment and systems requiring the isolation of the malfunction, disassembly of equipment and repair/replacement of bearings, gears, structural components, etc.
• Performs preventive maintenance on equipment and mechanical systems.
• Specific responsibilities include: Safely troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all rotating equipment and associated mechanical systems including compressors, pumps, fans, blowers, boiler systems, valves and the ability to perform equipment alignments.
• Plan and execute maintenance tasks, and completion of all follow-up documentation.
• Complete some repairs of mechanical piping systems including threaded and welded pipe systems.
• Complete and document maintenance activities associated with predictive and corrective maintenance activities in a computerized maintenance database.Qualifications:
  • 5+ year's experience in an industrial production environment
  • Knowledge of skilled trades, Journeyman Millwright/Machinist experience preferred
  • High School education, associated degree preferred
  • Ability to interpret equipment drawings required.
  • Functional computer skills required.
  • On-call ability required, 24/7 operations.
  • Willing to support multiple facilities within the TX City /Houston Ship Channel Area.
