integral part of the supply management team working closely with
Site Leaders, Commodity Leaders, Region Material Leaders, and
Buyers to maximize the effectiveness, compliance, and management of
the Strategic and Tactical sourcing function. The role will drive
strategic direction, ensuring alignment cross functionally within
the Honeywell matrix structure. Candidate will drive and implement
process improvements, system enhancements and continue to lead /
improve productivity and efficiency within this functionGoals -
Drive key metrics including on time delivery, productivity and
supply base optimization. Achieve agreed metric / goals for site
with Sourcing LeaderKey Responsibilities:-----Process requisitions,
place purchase orders, expedite and track orders in support of
procurement and operations---Maintain ERP material data as directed
by Strategic Sourcing. Maintain data integrity in P2P tool
(purchasing database)---Maintain and assure current order status
information to keep supplier on-time to request info
valid---Effectively expedite orders to prevent line down situations
and air transportation costs---Manage re-scheduling of direct
materials as required---Resolve all invoice holds in a timely
manner to prevent credit holds---Manage complaints to suppliers
(delivery issues and/or quality)---Be a driver in New Product
Introduction (NPI) initiatives and obsolescence management,
tracking key milestones to enable successful execution of the
program---Develop site sourcing strategy, sourcing/negotiations,
global/regional budget execution and interface with suppliers and
internal stakeholders---Leads supplier localization efforts in
collaboration with sourcing project plans and direction of
Strategic Sourcing Manager for transitions---Interfacing with
Global Commodity Manager and aligning site strategy with global
commodity strategies---Providing direction and developing strategic
road maps with Sourcing Leader---Identifying appropriate cost
reduction ideas to meet or exceed AOP goals & drive
implementation---Supporting goals on cost reduction, supply chain
lead time reduction, working capital, quality, and delivery
improvement---Lead / support in-sourcing and out-sourcing
strategies. Lead/ support transition of projects from other
sites---Manage and execute supplier and operational issues,
including but not limited to engineering change management,
contract maintenance, parts availability, quality, and launch
support---Use Honeywell tools and processes to drive fact-based
decision making---Implement standard contract terms and conditions
with suppliers---Escalation point to resolve supplier performance
issues---Ensure selected supply base is meeting initiatives for
cycle time reduction, productivity, quality, and
delivery---Communicate any transitions to the factory and receive
buy-in for implementation timelineHPS202020MUST HAVE---Strong
interpersonal skills---Demonstrated strong strategic thinking---2
years of procurement experience---High level of analytical
skills---SAP experience---Minimum 1 year experience on Supplier
VMI, productivity / savings & contracts---Minimum 1 year experience
managing global projects, NPI, PIPOWE VALUE--- CPIM and/or CPM
certification desired--- Six Sigma Green or Black Belt
certification desired--- Leadership - strong influential skills to
work across all functions and levels of an organization; ability to
lead change and role models high performance standards---
Communication & Interpersonal - crisp verbal skills for velocity
plus effective listening skills; effective facilitation skills;
team player, demonstrates high energy & model's behaviors to
motivate the team----- Execution - persistent drive for results
utilizing sound project management, organizational, ability to
prioritize, and problem-solving skills--- Data analysis - good
analytical and data crunching skills. High proficiency on Microsoft
excel & power-point--- Strategic thinking - ability to make sound
business judgments related to strategic supply philosophies and
initiatives--- Bachelor's (graduate degree preferred) in Supply
Chain, Business, Logistics, Operations or equivalent experience---
