Danner's Inc., a long-standing Maritime Transportation and Security company is looking to add Dispatchers to our Transportation team in Pasadena, TX. We are in search of experienced Dispatchers who are customer service oriented, courteous, work well under pressure and can complete tasks in a detailed and safe manner. Benefits:Medical, Dental, Vision, Supplemental Life, AD&D and cancer policies after 60 days (fulltime eligible)Paid Time Off eligibility after 90 days (begins accruing immediately at start of employment)Paid TrainingBi-Weekly Pay/Direct DepositChaplin Service availableDanner's CareEvents and Prizes, Promotes from withinCompetitive hourly rates starting at $16.00/hour.Schedule: Day and Night Positions available.3 days on, 3 days offDays - 6:00AM to 5:00PMNights - 5:00PM to 6:00AMResponsibilities, however not limited to:Triage emails, calls and inquiries from customersPlan, schedule, and dispatch drivers and vehicles to meet dynamic job requirements.Verify driver paperwork is correctWork closely with Drivers to coordinate pick up and drop offs to maintain maximum productivity and efficiencyCommunicate effectively with supervisors, customers, and teammates to resolve issues and coordinate services.Ensure all job assignments are properly logged into system and updated accordinglyTrack and trace job assignments and drivers status via cell and GPSMonitor driver availability and locationEnsure all paperwork has been completed and updated for each jobAssist in expediting any problematic jobs that are late, missing, mis-routed, returned in a timely manner and communicate with customer regarding detailsAll dispatcher candidates will start off in a driving position to get familiar with the driver job dutiesOccasionally Drive in order to meet client expectationsOccasionally needed for other duties as directed by managerDemonstrate commitment to Danner's values & professionalism through appropriate conduct at all times.The Dispatcher will be responsible for promoting and maintaining customer satisfaction and goodwill by successfully fulfilling job assignments through customer pick up and drop offs in a timely and professional manner.Qualified Dispatcher shall meet the following general & physical requirements:General:Must be age 24 or older to apply REQUIREDValid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card is REQUIREDMust possess a valid Texas driver's licenseMinimum 2 years Dispatcher Experience, preferably maritime industryMust be able to proficiently speak, read & write EnglishMust be employment eligible based on background requirements to include criminal background check, clean MVR, health/drug screenStrong typing skillsAbility to solve problems and work well under pressureHighly Organized and detail-orientedHighly communicative with excellent customer service skillsDesire to grow, learn and work in a team environmentExcellent sense of urgencyPhysical:Average to excellent hearingAverage to excellent visionLifting/Carrying up to 50 lbs. without assistanceSitting for longer periods of timeOccasionally Driving vehiclesWalking, climbing, bending, kneeling, and stoopingOther physical demands may be required as needed.If you are enthusiastic about providing exceptional customer service and meet the qualifications above, please submit your resume and/or application.
