Johnson Controls seeks a skilled Journeymen Chiller Mechanic to join its team.

Key Responsibilities:

--- Execute contract maintenance visits, inspections, site assessments, service requests and recommend necessary upgrades or repairs to prolong equipment life cycle
--- Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors and co-workers through effective oral and written communication skills
--- Provide quote estimates for labor and material repairs and upgrades as needed
--- Represent the company as the direct customer contact and be responsible for servicing products and equipment on assigned projects
--- Use cutting-edge software and technology, along with hand-tools and rigging equipment, to diagnose and repair equipment
--- Enforce safety to the highest standards and maintain security and accountability of company issued and procured assets

Requirements:

--- Three years of commercial, industrial, and/or institutional experience with all types of chillers, various compressor technologies, chiller control systems, and speed drives
--- Mechanical Journeyman status
--- Member of Local Union 211 or willing to join
--- Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and working proficiency with handheld computers
--- Adherence to company safety program
--- Valid driver's license
--- Appropriate licenses to work with refrigerant, boiler, and steam operational and service knowledge
--- EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification
--- Good verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

--- More than 5 years of commercial, industrial, and/or institutional experience with all types of chillers, various compressor technologies, chiller control systems, and speed drives
