Job Description:
The Regional Business Development Specialist is responsible for
identifying and securing new project opportunities within the
marine and civil construction markets, with a particular focus on
expanding the company's footprint in helical piling and deep
foundation systems. This role supports revenue growth through
proactive outreach, relationship building, and coordination with
internal teams to deliver technically sound and cost-effective
solutions. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of
construction markets, excellent client engagement skills, and
knowledge of helical piling systems. Primary Responsibilities:
Research and identify business opportunities across public and
private sector infrastructure projects, with a focus on foundations
and marine-related scopes. Promote the company’s capabilities in
helical piles, driven piles, and related civil/marine construction
services. Build and maintain long-term relationships with general
contractors, developers, engineers, municipalities, and utility
companies. Conduct outreach campaigns including cold calling, site
visits, trade shows, lunch-and-learns, and technical presentations.
Collaborate with estimating and engineering teams to qualify leads
and prepare proposals or budgets. Track regional construction
trends, competitor activity, and bid opportunities. Assist in
preparation of RFQs/RFPs and marketing collateral in coordination
with the marketing department. Maintain accurate lead tracking and
opportunity management. Provide feedback from the field to inform
strategic planning, service offerings, and customer needs. Minimum
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction
Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred;
equivalent work experience considered. 3–6 years of experience in
construction-related sales, business development, or technical
marketing. Preferred: Experience with helical piles, deep
foundations, geotechnical solutions, or marine construction.
Familiarity with public works, DOT, utility, or infrastructure
project cycles. Strong interpersonal, communication, and
negotiation skills. Ability to read and understand construction
plans, specs, and bid documents. Self-starter with organizational
and time management skills to manage a regional territory.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce,
HubSpot). Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
