Job Description:
Clean Harbors, a leader in environmental and industrial services
across North America, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented
Lead Project LDAR (Leak Detection and Repair) Technician to join
our Environmental Health & Safety team. This role focuses on
conducting leak detection and repair at various industrial sites,
ensuring compliance with environmental laws and regulations, and
maintaining our commitment to eco-friendly practices. The ideal
candidate should possess a passion for environmental protection,
with strong project management skills and technical expertise in
handling sophisticated monitoring equipment. Supervise and perform
emission monitoring using advanced LDAR technologies and
methodologies. Coordinate and manage field operations, ensuring
compliance with all applicable environmental regulations and
company standards. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all
inspections, maintenance, and repairs performed. Lead and train a
team of LDAR Technicians, promoting a culture of safety and
compliance. Coordinate with regulatory agencies and prepare reports
for environmental compliance. Identify and recommend opportunities
for improving system compliance, reliability, and sustainability.
Manage project budgets, resources, and schedules to ensure timely
and successful project execution. Proficiency with LDAR software
and database management. Strong analytical and problem-solving
skills. Effective communication and leadership abilities. Expertise
in using various types of monitoring equipment, such as optical gas
imaging cameras. Capability to work in diverse outdoor environments
