Aveanna Healthcare, a leading national provider of diversified home healthcare services, is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for part-time or PRN night shifts. This role focuses on delivering high-quality nursing care to patients in a home setting, adhering to their personalized care plans with a focus on fostering their independence and comfort. As part of Aveanna’s team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our patients receive the care they need to recover and manage their health in their most comfortable environment. Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles. Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care needs including physical, psychological, and social needs. Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and provide vital health education to patients and their families. Prepare and maintain accurate patient records, charts, and documents to support sound medical practice. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to facilitate integrated and comprehensive care. Participate in on-call rotations and provide night-time care as required. Strong clinical skills with the ability to react decisively in emergency situations. Proficiency in maintaining accurate and detailed reports and records. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an empathetic and patient-centered approach. Ability to operate medical equipment and perform complex procedures. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. CPR certification recommended.
