Salary: $33 - $40 per hour A bit about us: Based in Houston, TX, we are a well-known oil and gas company actively seeking a Compliance Reporting Support Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in the fast-paced, high-energy world of the Energy industry. In this role, you will perform compliance assurance functions and regulatory reporting for our internal and non-agency interacting functions. This is a long-term contract opportunity with a strong possibility of conversion to full-time. You will be offered an hourly rate, premium medical benefits, a 401k plan, a 9/80 work schedule, and 1-day work from home. Premium Medical, and Dental benefits (70% covered by employer) 9/80 work schedule - every other Friday off! 401k plan Possibility of conversion to full-time Work remotely 1 day per week Job Details Job Duties: Perform compliance assurance functions and regulatory reporting Performance of regulatory research, assessments of business unit alignment to standards Requirements: Bachelor's degree required Background in renewable energy, oil & gas, and/or refineries is a plus. Basic understanding of refining, marketing, and distribution processes a plus. Regulatory and /or accounting experience a plus. Excellent communication, interpersonal and organization skills. Ability to communicate errors efficiently. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks. Ability to analyze situations and recommend alternative solutions. Strong detail, analytical, and reconciling skills. Intermediate Excel and Access preferred. Ability to work autonomously. SharePoint and computer-based training development experience.
