details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position Position Overview We
are seeking an experienced General Medicine Nurse Practitioner for
a PRN locum opportunity performing non-treatment medical disability
evaluations and separation health assessments . This role is ideal
for providers looking for flexible, exam-based clinical work with
no prescribing, no treatment, and no call . Assignments may be
conducted either at designated exam locations or within the
provider’s own office , depending on regional needs. Assignment
Details Assignment Type: Locum / PRN Schedule: As needed (flexible)
Shift Options: Half Day (up to 4 hours) Full Day (5–8 hours) On
Call / Weekends: None Patient Care Type: One-time medical
evaluations only Compensation Half-Day Rate: $510 flat rate (up to
4 hours) Full-Day Rate: $1,050 flat rate (5 hours or more) Bonus:
One-time $650 bonus upon completion of required training and first
exam Travel: Local candidates only; travel included in rates Note:
Follow-up administrative work (addendums, medical opinions,
diagnostics review) is included in the flat rate and not paid
separately Clinical Responsibilities Perform Compensation & Pension
(C&P) exams and Separation Health Assessments Conduct
interview-based evaluations with limited physical exams Perform
range-of-motion and muscle strength testing as required Evaluate
and document cardiovascular, respiratory, and METs-related
conditions Complete documentation accurately and timely within
required systems No prescribing. No treatment. No ongoing patient
management. Practice Options Providers may work in one of the
following models based on availability and location needs: Per Diem
Exam Location: Provider must reside within a 50-mile radius
Provider-Owned Office: Must have an established office within the
required geographic radius Additional Information Required at
Presentation Military, reserve, or VA employment status (Yes/No)
Number of days per week available Specific days of availability
ECFMG certificate (if educated outside the U.S.) Ideal Backgrounds
Providers with experience in the following specialties are
encouraged to apply: General Medicine Family Medicine Internal
Medicine Orthopedics Prior Compensation & Pension exam experience

Qualifications (MANDATORY) Active and unrestricted Nurse
Practitioner license AANP Certification Proficient in METs testing
and cardiovascular/respiratory evaluations Own a Windows-based
laptop (Mac/Apple devices not permitted) Willingness to complete
DMA training to become DMA certified Current CV must include home
address Self-Query NPDB report pulled within the last 30 days –
