Job Description:
Memorial Hermann, a leader in Texas healthcare, is seeking a
dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for our Emergency Department (ED)
Admission Holds at the Texas Medical Center. This position focuses
on providing optimal care during the initial phase of emergency
patients’ admission, ensuring a seamless transition and exceptional
patient care. This role requires expertise in emergency nursing,
strong decision-making skills, and a commitment to clinical
excellence in a fast-paced environment. Assess and stabilize
patients as they arrive in the ED, ensuring a smooth transition
from initial triage to inpatient units. Work collaboratively with
ED staff and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement
patient care plans. Monitor patient health and respond to medical
emergencies with precision and empathy. Document patient data and
interventions accurately in patient health records. Educate
patients and their families on treatment plans and health
management strategies post-discharge. Advanced knowledge of
emergency care protocols and procedures. Excellent communication
and interpersonal skills. Ability to operate under high stress
environments. Proficiency in using medical software and electronic
health records. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas.
Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred. BLS and ACLS
certifications required.
