Job Description:
You’ve got DCS experience, you’re not afraid of a challenge, and
you like solving problems in real time. If that’s you then keep
reading . If not? Keep scrolling. We’re not looking for average.
This is an on-site , high-impact role at a mid-sized chemical plant
near Houston. You’ll be working in a mostly continuous process
environment (with some batch production thrown in for good
measure), helping produce specialty chemicals and solvents that
power industries across the country. You’ll be the go-to person for
process control on-site. You’ll be programming the Honeywell
Experion DCS (ideal—if you know it, great. If not, any DCS
experience is fair game). You’ll provide daily unit support , drive
a virtualization upgrade , and manage automation projects
end-to-end. If you want to sit in the corner and push paper, this
is not your role. But if you’re looking to own your work , wear
multiple hats, and make an impact , welcome aboard. Oh, and this
isn’t through some mega-corp with ten layers of red tape. You’ll be
hired direct by a growing engineering firm , with full benefits,
real leadership access, and a seat at the table as the company
scales What You’ll Need to Bring: BS in Chemical or Electrical
Engineering or 5 years of experience in a chemical plant
environment Hands-on experience with DCS controls (Honeywell
Experion? Even better.) Bonus points for exposure to power
distribution, motors, maintenance, and instrumentation Must be the
kind of person who doesn’t wait for permission— you take initiative
, you solve problems, and you get it done. What’s In It For You:
Direct hire opportunity — not contract —with a growing engineering
firm Strong compensation (tailored to your experience level) Full
benefits Real autonomy , visibility , and opportunity —you won’t be
another cog in the machine Located in the engineering capital of
the world (and no state income tax) Bottom line: If you're a
high-output Process Control Engineer who wants more ownership, more
variety, and more impact, this is your shot . You’ll be running
point on controls in a plant that actually values engineering, not
just compliance.
